Very funny and vbery true. I am myself a collector of rare fanfics, paticularly enjoying such varieites as 'Red Dwarf' (a confused beast prone to slashiness) and 'Discworld' (a specis of enormous sise and variety, that, in the same way you cannot tell that an elephant's closest relative is a type of shrew, it is nearly impossible to identify.)

Don't know why, but I didn't find this particularly funny. It's well written, but the metaphor gets kind of strained.

Please tell me that you don't participate in fanfiction. It tends to be a crutch that hinders good writing, depending on characters and dwellings that are not of your own creation. You're too good handling your division and classification to have to write such things, instead of creating your own work to inspire its own fans. It is sometimes fun to read, though...
