It's pretty good. Could use more description/imagery, though, and a bit less "this did that" factual statement. Imagery is what poetry is all about, eh? : )

the poem reminds me of times in life where you think that everything's losing life and dying and there's nothing you can do about it. you have to sit and wait until something happens. and then the "rain" comes and everything springs back into motion. life goes on.
