This is really great. You explain very well how people should let others form their own opinions and respect them.

I suppose you are targeting Christians in this poem. Hmm, most Christians out there couldn't give a rat's ** if you disagreed with them, as long as you don't insult their religion. Really, don't worry. The vast majority isn't trying to make you choke on God. The ones who do are over zealous in their beliefs and should be completely ignored. Disagree all you want, but you'll be a better person (esp. than the ridiculous preachers out there) for doing it respectfully. This poem was very passionate, but I couldn't find much of a flow to it.

Your poem really spoke to me, being Wiccan my religion has had 2 endure eons of oppression. Unlike some religions out there we don't try 2 enforce our beliefs on others but many still view us as 'Satan worshipers' or even worse refuse 2 recognise it as an official religion putting it down as 'some teenage fad' Wiccans are supposed 2 respect the leaders of other religions but i like you, really dislike those who force their own opinions onto others. If people push me it is easy to just point out that Wicca is 1 of the older religions predating faiths like Christianity by almost a thousand years, but i don't really wanna do that. You know, I don't agree with this, but what bothers me is the sheer quantity of positive reviews these kind of poems get. If a Christian wrote a poem like this about, say, Wicca, then they would get harassed, flamed, insulted, you name it. Why is that?

Well done! I'm an atheist, too, and I hate facing christians who are so damned arrogant in the need to preach. This says everything I feel and then some!
