I love this story~

I think I've read this chapter... hm... :3 I haven't been on the site in a very long time and I remembered today that I have things to read still and I came back to check everything... have you updated Broken Wings yet? Hm lets find out =D And update soon! I miss reading this! I want more! Moremoremore! Gwah...

Hmm. Such conflict. One never really has a bigger enemy as a child than his own father, eh? Especially if you're the firstborn son. The pressure of such a position is quite intense, as I can honestly attest, myself being the firstborn son of my family.

Of course, my father isn't a psychotic contract killer, and I don't hate him, but still; I relate.

I like the way the intelligence and unusual nature of Rickie is given to us in a somewhat subtle way with the upside-down typing thing. I don't know if this is something you do, Gaki, but if it is indeed a habit of yours, I salute you for it.

Sometimes, a sentence pops up that seems like the last comma should have been a period, and that whole thing should have been two sentences. Other times, the dialogue tags feel as if they should have been given to us earlier in the sentence so as to allow us to read the line with the character's emotions in mind. It's nothing too dramatic or distracting, but these little gripes can tarnish an otherwise smooth piece.

Speaking of smooth, the transitions from scene to scene, such as from Rickie's bedroom to the kitchen and on to the coastline, are so organic and natural that it almost seems as if you've based this story on real events you've witnessed. As if you're simply transcribing the events second-by-second onto the page as they happened. It makes for genuinely human moments. All too genuine, actually; they remind me of some of the rockier times of this summer with my sister. Don't ask.

Also, the question of whether or not this Rickie is an angel seems to be posed with the last line. Perhaps we are dealing with the fallen angel earlier than we expected?

Hmm. Nice start. I've been wanting to review this one for a long, long, long, long, freakin' long time. -_-;

Anyway, I like the way the questions are posed in such a way that it seems like it was written by the main character after the action has already taken place. As if this is that character's memoir.

One thing I have to mention before I get into the actual story, though: I know I'm not the only one who envisions Sephiroth when I read the line "...One wing and blood red halo." I know Sephy never had a "halo" in the purest sense of the word, but still.

Good start, and I'm quite whetted to get into the rest.

Love it Gaki, gave us more of an understanding of Ren. Hopefully the rewrites will be as good as you're letting us on to believe. ;)

I like it alot, but you confuse me when you start say stuff like when Ren was 29 or 27 and he's not that old yet and He's suppose to die, but then he's not in jail,but with his son and it's very confusing. Are thise just dream?I how that makes sense, but I doubt it. Keep updating

YAY! I got an update! Cause I sing pretty. Anyway...Yay, Dante had his @$$ kicked! That's so exciting! Though i am slightly confused as to how berlin thinks he's going to get Jason back if he's the one that raped Gromit...I don't like Berlin anymore...and I don't like Jason so much either because he's an idiot...I think the only one I like right now is Ren. He should marry Marilyne. If you don't let him and you make him marry that other chick I'll get his crowbar (oh yes, i know where it is now!) and beat you with it. Not enough to kill you, just enough to make you change your mind and maybe get a small concussion. Anyway, now that the threats are over, thanks for the update! *hug*

I had the same reaction as Opie..."you killed him with his own squeegee?...That's ironic."

And it must be interesting to be have voices in your head. I'd be as weirded out as Berlin if someine started talking to voices in their head.

But I'm thinking that it's not the kind of thing I'm supposed to understand, where Ren is when Opie has his body...if I think about it too hard my brain will probably fizzle into nothing. Nice gore-osity in the story. you trying to make me pass out or something? What happens to Tomi? You'd better answer that in some future update! Nice closing. *Duhduhduhduh(creepy music)*..."A killer". I like it.

OMG...i just read all the chapters up to and including chapter 40, and all i can say is that is an amazing story...i luved all the chapters so far and I can't wait to see wait happens next...Opie taking control of Ren's body is v. funny!! I like the choking on the spit bit and the falling outta bed part they were also hilariouse parts in chapter 40. He has a son, thats soo cute!! Please update soon!! Alexa xox
