Like Frost (one of my faves) this has simple and powerful beauty lacing it all 'round. Truly uplifting in a sense that you have no idea what you're talking about (not you. Me. Der.) But tis chamring to fantasize and let ye imagination run wild. (quote? maybe.) I think i actually liked your old penname better. this one is kickass though. Dunno. Sometimes it's just time for a change...I'm feeling the winds [of change] comign closer for my pn as well...

good poem again, i like the way it doesn't rhyme... Hm, advice for breaking the rhyming habit. That's tough. I rhymed everything when I started out writing poetry about 2 years ago, and then i got annoyed at the structuredness of it. What helped me was actually taking bits of conversations or a couple of lines of a story or journal entry i was writing and trying to put it into poetry format while changing the original wording as little as possible. it sort of opened me to a different style of poetry, and i soon quit rhyming almost completely. So you could give that a try. Really though, you handle rhyming better than most people on this site, or i would've flamed your poems. :P So if you can't break the habit, don't worry too much about it.

Yo, lol! I have the same prob with rhyming. I'll be sitting anywhere, even in bed at night, and I'll suddenly get all these rhymes in my head...I've only been able to write 2 poems w/out them. Anyway, another great poem!
