As excellent, beautiful, and sad as the poem, you have a way of reaching into my memories and wrenching at my tears it seems, the scene in the hospital really made me think of my dad and how I had no idea what any of that hospital equipment meant and thought everything would be ok. I wish I had been able to understand, maybe it would have made enough of an impact on me to remember the day my dad died. I've only read two of your works so far, but apparently you're as awesome as I knew you'd be. :D
