People always told me im a perfectionist. I never thought so, maybe just cuz i am perfect :D
Aside from that, good poem. Nicely put.

Oh, I really liked this poem. It's fantastic. My daughter, Kristine, feels this way very often. (I, being the "Hello, homework? No time! No time!" sort of person when I was in school can't relate *chuckles*)

You captured the mind-set perfectly; I can totally relate to this poem. Great job!

Yeah... I may not be a perfectionist but I understand how that can be.The rhyme wasn't too forced. I though it was pretty good. ^_^

I relate to this poem. I was sort of the bookish perfectionist...having to aim high at things to feel any sort of pleasure. I loved this though. Interesting imagery and the flow was great. Nice stanzas...good pieec all together. I think alot of people can relate to this poem.

Perfectionism is meant to be bad, and I admit it causes too much stress if you are over the top etc, but I would like to me more of a perfectionist, because at least the stuff you do is done well. Me, I am to careless.

The essence of a perfectionist in a nutshell. And the last rhyme wasnt that bad. I prefer the third stanza to the rest. thanx for all the reviews btw. Great work!

Wow, while I was reading this believe it or not I heard it to the music of an akapela song by Great Big Sea. Yikes. What an awful way to be... it's seems like that to me, anyway, the Continual Chafifinikit(hebrew antonym to Perfectionist)... Life's hard when you gotta be perfect. You don't, you know. Perfect people are hard to love, and I usually end up hating them (see Mikey and Steve's relationship) so gues what, you're not perfect! You're perfectly flawed! Love you.

Your self critique here was well observed. Nipping in the bud those that would think you didn't know.
I understand exactly where you are coming from in this. I do the same thing; struggling over one word to ensure it is exact in meaning and consequence to my requirement.
(By the way I read this for two reasons:
1. because I am a perfectionist also.
2. because your nick-name contains the word Harbinger, and hardly anyone, it would seem, knows what it means) I wrote a poem entitled "Harbinger" a while ago. Great word! Nice to see someone else use it.
