A lot of your stories start out like this, telling separate stories of each main character until their paths converge. In a way, with your converging stories and reused characters themselves, you entire writing is just the fabric of a universe of convergences. A very nice scope, yet you don't forget the details, most of the time.

Good start, I like historical fiction.
I thought that in most myths dryads were only females though . . .
