I know, I have been a bad person. I haven't been reviewing or reading any of your wonderful writtings... *blushes* I must say, you surprises me everytime. This is a great story. I'm reading this in like the thirty seconds I have before I go off to school, whilst I'm cooking scones, but I love it. You've got a few grammatical/punctuation errors, but other than that it is splendid. Must go read more. You know, a blast of hot over air in your face really wakes you up.

I really liked your story. It is very interesting. I have an idea about what might happen, but I don't want to say anything. Is Lush Island a real place? I agree that they probably don't understand how long a boat is going to take to make. I have only one criticism, you should probably try to keep everything in the same tense (verb wise.)

Another story! ^_^ Anyways, I have a few suggestions and they are:
1) You could probably use more detail, the chapter seem a bit 'rushed' to me.
2) I don't think your characters realize how long a boat takes to make! Especially a strong one that is also big enough to hold five kids and a dog. (Assuming Maru is going, which I hope he is! ^_^)
Other than that, it sounds like an interesting idea. One more comment, the prologue made you think and I like that. Nice job!
