Pelirizado 2004-12-02 ch 1,	abuseWell, it sounds like you're a little fed up with religion (that's me stating the obvious). Am I right to say that Catholicism is the main culpret here? I know what you are saying, but I'm afraid you've lumped all even faintly "religious" people in the same category. Not all people who serve God are like that. I am not here to force anything on anybody, just to proclaim the truth. That there is a God, that His son, Jesus, came down and paid the price for your sins through His death on the cross, and that He's risen and coming again. Here's another bit of truth that might sting. We get ourselves into messes. Not God. Unfortunately that is one thing we humans do quite well. But please don't blame God. God isn't this fluffy pink all loving being that doesn't want anyone to die, He is a righteous, holy, just God who can't be in the presence of sin. So if you sin (which we all do) you don't go to heaven (and you can guess where you do go) Sorry, this is getting long. I just wanted to make sure that you heard the truth. If you need to talk, or even want to talk, e-mail me and I will be glad to discuss anything with you. Now, there is some truth in your poem, but it shouldn't make you turn from the God of the universe. Okay, I'm done now. Daniel
infamously-anonymous 2004-10-15 ch 2,	abuselol, this is hilarious. I suppose it shouldn't be taken that way... but I've always been a bit of a satanist... I even made up my own religion. Basically I agree with you, nobody should be forced to follow a religion, it should be choice, my mum goes on about having me christened coz it's the right thing to do and all that **, she's an idiot. I'm not christian and never shall be, sure, I believe there's a god, but I don't follow him. Nice poem... espeicially about forcing us down on our knees, brings back some painful memories.

Ok - so a little miffed but not too much - no matter how hard we try we'll never be divine and I'll always believe in Christ that he'll save me BUT religion doesn't guarantee you'll be in heaven. SPeaking of what LAdy Beth said about the Catholic religion I have catholic friends and I am sad to say Catholic priests don't seem like priests anymore. I mean them being preists, them acting all holy and stuff when they are just about as scummy as we 'commoners' are, them telling us what to do, them 'forgiving' our sins (repention) and them affection politics in my country. I'm sorry to Catholics who'll read this review - not all Catholics are bad I just don't like the way Catholic priests act all holy and stuff. but nice song and all - you were actually pretty tactful unlike SOME bigots in fanfiction.net - yeah you may not be too fond of Christ but at least you're not acting like some mad author trying to wage war in a writing community just because people have different beliefs - hey! you gots my respect for that! sorry for the long review.

It's a well written song, and it portrays your thoughts very very well. However, I think you have defenitely got the wrong picture of God and believers. The Catholic religion was created as a political machine and, as far as I'm concerned, has no intention to preach religious value. Secondly, you mustr realize that I write to prove a point. I could really honestly give a about how accurate my facts are. Thirdly, at no point do I call God sadistic. Fourthly, I could also give a about Jesus. Religion is not about stories and figureheads, it's about the morals they teach. And lastly, never, ever preach to me about how to live my life until you've lived it yourself. You have no idea.
Lady Beth 2004-09-25 ch 1,	abuseI believe you are reffering to the Catholic faith. Theirs is one of the rules that so pain you, but there are other denominations that are more based on faith and proof than saying the right things. Not all Christian churches tell you how to live, or how incredibly 'sinful' and 'immoral' we are either. Many Christians are lead to their faith by ** they've been in and God uses that. He's not some cruel sadistic guy in the clouds putting us in pain for no reason. Live how you like, but next time try to be a little more open-minded to what you're writnig and check your facts. I suggest you read 'More Than A Carpenter' by Josh McDowell. He was an atheist trying to disrepute God and the Bible, and ended up proving it; also the Bible is the most accurate history book in the world. Untill you can give scientific reasons as to how Jesus could have performed his miracles without some type of other-worldly power, try not to hate Him with such a zeal.You really have no idea what you're talking about.
