George 2009-11-22 . chapter 18 I read two or three chapters back and then read the new Chapter eighteen.
There is no doubt that you have a lot of talent in writing. I wish you could be doing it full time and not have to worry with a job. But, I'm sure we all wish that for ourselves as well.
I liked Chapter eighteen very much, I can't wait for the Chapter nineteen. I'm sure it will be here before we know it, right.
See you soon, |
der fiddlesticks 2009-10-28 . chapter 18That's it, man. I want to be a Draconian. I love this chapter and Thanatos is the coolest damn creature in the universe. I can't wait for this to be published. |
The Gentle Troubadour 2009-09-30 . chapter 18GENIUS battle scene! And I loved the bit about the testing ground! You are making me miss Malinku and Thanatos and all the others so much! My favorite part of this chapter was the taming of the Kahravi. It was like actually, physically being there, you described it so well. Brilliant! |
nightdragon0 2009-09-28 . chapter 18Thanatos seems to be doing nicely in the terms that he thinks of analyzing the enemy formations, and of his own troops and their morale. Just that he got some extra help along the way. Dragons and Phoenixes go well together too. |
Chaz Nasty 2009-01-30 . chapter 17 Damn. This is one of the best stories I have ever read. That's no joke. Faeric and Xakiel rule. I guess I'll have to stop referring to you as 'that faggy poet I like to read online.'
Now you're 'that faggy poet and fantasy writer I like to read online'. Yeah, you've stepped up a notch. |
nightdragon0 2009-01-03 . chapter 17It's definitely interesting seeing the development on both sides & giving the antagonists more depth in that sense. |
Canterbury Jane 2008-12-17 . chapter 17 There are few stories that I look forward to more than this one! Thank you so much for updating! I have been printing every chapter out and saving them in a binder. I have to say, Faeric is my favorite character of all time. But I am getting to really appreciate Xakiel and Oolatech as well, and Vemon is truly terrifying. You are a master of the craft. Please, please keep writing! |
Wrath of Cthulu 2008-11-09 . chapter 17 WTF IS UP WITH FICTIONPRESS?! I have been trying to post a review for damn ever and nothing shows up. I even send an email to the people who run the site and told them that I wanted to make them drink rat piss for this outrage but they didn't write back because they are rude. The first million reviews I wrote for this chapter were really good and I used big words and everything. I even made lists of my favorite parts. But now I am so frustrated that all I can say is "nice chapter!" and leave it at that. Blame the admins, who all probably voted for McCain.
You are great, Lord Maggot eats the guts of only dead losers and D&D players and chess nuts and AV Club members and other human refuse. He can twiddle my hairy sack with his tongue. Gentle Troubadour is neither gentle nor a real troubadour. Canterbury Jane is Venus on the half shell and she can have the honor of popping my cherry if she so desires. Fiddlesticks is a sack of frog puke. Chaz Nasty would sell his body to Armenian sailors on shore leave, but he hates to charge for something he loves so much. Peace out, haters. |
The Gentle Troubadour 2008-10-12 . chapter 17This is the best chapter yet! I think that Xakiel is one of your most dynamic, creepy, and tragic characters yet and I just know that the others are going to freak out when they read this chapter! I also like the whole relationship between Vemon and Faeric - very touching and heartbreaking. You are truly the grand master of writing!
Fiddlesticks blows cats.
Wrath of Cthulu follows sick old people around because he is addicted to the taste of regurgitated Ensure.
Lord Maggot is a pasty little fat white man working in an office somewhere who takes out his aggression on the online community.
Chaz Nasty is a whore - but only for himself. |
Chaz Nasty 2008-03-31 . chapter 4 Faeric and Thanatos are vying for the title of coolest character I have ever read about. I'm liking this Valankar chap too. Your writing is entertaining and clever. Reminds me of when I was a little kid and discovered Arthur C. Clarke. Spent about a hundred years crouched in my treehouse, devouring every word. Seemed like I would never enjoy a book more thoroughly. Guess I was wrong. Here you are. |
Chaz Nasty 2008-03-31 . chapter 3 Thanatos is a demon. I love him. You described everything so clearly that I felt as though I stepped through a veil into the world you've made. CHAOS! |
Chaz Nasty 2008-03-17 . chapter 2 Raven is such a sweet little girl. Here she is with a past that Stephen King would cringe from and she's still all trusting and kind with Faeric. He makes people trust him. Thanatos is a beautiful soul. I want to protect him. He is a Christlike figure and I know that he has a part to play very soon. This story is beginning simply, moving toward the complex. I feel it. |
Chaz Nasty 2008-03-16 . chapter 1 I thought you were a poet and nothing more. It would have been enough. But you are a novelist too. This makes you more interesting. I like the first chapter. I will have to read more, but I have a Latin test tomorrow and I need to study. I like Raven. She is a character who is in need of rescue, which I always respond to, but also a character who has a very hand and dangerous edge under her soft exterior. A kitten has claws, and three weeks after it is born it can bite hard enough to snap the neck of a mouse. Helpless is not often helpless. It just looks that way to the unobservant. |
Thinking in Tongues 2008-01-14 . chapter 8 Got to say this is the first time I've ever been to the site. I saw the write-up on you and thought I'd have a peek to see if your story really was 'a cross between Tolkien and Tad Williams with a smidgen of Dragonlance to spice the plot". Better than that, mate. Faeric is killer. You need to have this published and put on the shelves so I can read it at home in my pyjamas and not illicitly here at work. |
God is My Co-Pirate 2008-01-13 . chapter 16 You should know that someone printed a brief summary of this tale in an underground literati mag here in Cornwall, claiming that is's "teh bril-farking-illiant" and therefore anyone who gives a toss about decent writing anymore these days will be stampeding here stat. Got to say it lives up to the hype. Just sat here mainlining caffiene for the past two hours and shot through all sixteen chapters. Zen Phoenix for the win, man. |
