Shelia Gavin 2004-09-30 . chapter 1
Gr... Katt, why can't I be this good? *pouts in frustration*...
I think it's just me, but there's a twinge of familiarity in the words... like maybe I've heard this before. Though I am baffled by the deja vou, I cannot begin to say how awestruck I am by the word flow and structure. I'm also mad that you got to use your punctuation... Damn computer!
I notice you used a man's perspective... that's an interesting twist. I know others have used it and usually it is more or less a solidified destrutor to poems (at least the ones I read). However, I find this one is actually better this way.
Another thing, I'm much into the words and rhymes. Good poetry generally leaves an impression and a side effect vision from its descriptions. Maybe it's just that I suffer from many visions, but I'm really impressed with the picture I can draw from your use of imagery. Usually, I do like a varying word order and lots of big words, but there's no need to rant about that for this one!
Question: Is this one of your songs on the CD?

Quite ethereal. I can almost hear this to the music of Battle of Evermore... Or something of the like. Beautiful lyrics.
