my favorite line is the last line. it really reflects how a person would feel in that situation.you have an interesting plot going here. i'd like to see where it heads. i wonder if antonia will ever escape the big beast's violent hands.time will tell.update soon!

Whoah, I think you have something here. You have depected the withdrawness of a battered wife perectly. When you read this you get the sense of the isolation she feels. This was a huge improvement from the first chapter.
