Di raises his arm to strike him, then revealing the teddy bear in his coat, shields the toy’s eyes and slaps Vawn.

lmao, ah, how i do enjoy the di-teddy interaction sequences. :P

anyhoo, this was the last chapter i hadn't reviewed, so . . . once again, nice work. keep up the good writings! :D

Ocho: (Meaning Vawn) If we left him in there he would probably annoy the monk into leaving.

Mirra: We tried that remember. It just came back.

i love how they sometimes refer to vawn as 'it' rather than 'he'. very amusing touch.

Vawn: It’s a Cute Irony of Ketchup’s fault.

just because . . . seriously . . . that is the most original phrase i have ever heard.

Mirra: Why do they send the crying people to me? Do I look like I care about crying people?

. . . if this play ever becomes famous, and i get to auditon for it, i'm going to be her. (i actually pictured mirra as a her despite the male pronouns . . . but that's okay because you said i could! *bounces off to the next scene a-la-vawn*)

Wrin: (Flirtingly) Then who do you like better?
Mirra: I hate you both equally.
*sigh* i love mirra. :P and i thought it was in this scene, but evidently i've passed it, so i'll bring it up now for the heck of it: the part where mirra stuffs the teddy into ocho's mouth to stop him from wailing was sheer brilliance. ;)

Wrin: (Turns away from Di) And I’m prettier than you.
Vawn: Which is how we choose our leaders any way.
hahahaha ~ muchly reminiscent of a political jibe, eh? :P

Ocho: (Is stunned) Vow of poverty… What kind of monster are you?
lol, indeed! haha

Vawn: What? (As Di grabs him) Wait! I have no bait! I have no bait!
Di: You are the bait.
hehe, ah, such a classic moment. :P

*basks in the insanity of vawn*
Mirra: When I get you off my back I’m going to break your neck!
Vawn: YAY!(Jumps off his back and flees as Mirra chases him) Da watta! De watta! De watta is on fire!

haha, ah yes, got a kick out of this:
"The hero begins to use the damsel as a prop for his poses. . . . The hero becoming annoyed by the damsel twirls her off." such an amusing image.

yes, haven't gotten into it yet, but aside from setting everything up in a most intriguing way, this caption made me smile: "The hero: A handsome paragon of heroicness". ;P
