| ciara cathleen 2004-10-21 ch 1, | abusehey, cool poem. I know what you are saying, but i think that for a girl to say she wishes to live up to/to be equal to a man is more sexist than anything. You are saying that men are better and the only way for women to be equal are to assume masculine roles. Of course, many people have this mind set. I think that for people to say "i am a female, and i can do it" or whatever, is alienation. If females would just do what they want without defending themselves as a "good enough gender", equal respect for women and men would be so much more common. Girls shouldnt try to do or be more like a man to feel equal. That is rediculous. Well, that is how i feel about it anyway. like i said, cool poem. |
