| Cthulhu 2004-10-29 ch 1, | abuseMate, ** amazing prose. Except for quite alot of grammatical and spelling errors this was utterly amazing. The mundane beginning was enchanting and utterly hypnotic which managed to give the end of the piece a huge emotional impact. Really, really good stuff. My favorite sentance had to be "Her bargain bought Silk dress torn, Her raven hair that was dyed from blond Flowing into gown her beauty silenced and all together bared." unless I am very much mistaken this wee bit was inspired very heavily by Cradle of Filth's wonderful song 'Her Ghost in the Fog'. I beleive the original line is; "Silk dress torn, Her raven hair Flown to gown Her beauty bared Was starred with frost," Great prose and an allusion to a great band. |
