Daniel might not be able to cry, but I can. Stories like this make me so sad, and I always end up in tears! Poor Daniel, and poor Taylor. Very beautiful, sad story.

Oh man... this made me cry, like really hard! This story is lovely and beautifully written. Reading this made me think of 911 and of course I'd like to think that all those that were lost on that tragic day were able to come back one last time to their loved ones, just like Taylor did for Daniel. Aw crap... I think I'm gonna cry again!

This was absolutely incredible. You've captured the fear, the tenderness, the warmth (and the not-so-warm) and the intense love beautifully. I had orginally thought that Taylor was a vampire but the actuality was so original. Extrordinary work.

I loved everything about this fic. I liked the way you started it, the simplicity of first sentence, and how you built up the suspense when Daniel opened the door. You expressed their emotions and personality very well, especially through their facial expressions and body language. I like the little details you provide, like how the drawer "dangled almost completely out of the bedside table" and how Daniel "didn't so much fall on the bed as float towards it." The tone of the story was very nice, and I wanted to cry myself at the very end. I would ask for a sequel, but I highly doubt there'd be one. The story's so tragic and sweet.
