Reviews For: Four More Years
Cdaja 2004-12-29 . chapter 1
I was just browsing through the essays, curious about some of the things people wrote on the past election.

I understand your feelings. I personally despise Bush. He's a horrible president. Many people talk about how great he is about defending our country and taking down Sadaam and all of that. They're missing the point.

Defending the country? What a crock! If he were defending the country, he would have stayed after bin Laden. But no. He can't find bin Laden. So why not go find Sadaam and gang up on him since we can't blow up anything else? Don't get me wrong; Sadaam isn't the best guy in the world. But we had no reason to do what we did.

Even people from other countries hate Bush. A friend of mine is an exchange student from Germany. The first words out of her mouth when she heard Bush was re-elected? "Eight years! ** **!"

And so here we sit. The only people in this country with a shred of common sense. A scrap of love for our fellow man. And so here we sit for four more years, watching this monkey try to run this already-crumbling country.

Ah, sorry to get all ranty and such on you. Just guess I had more to say than I originally thought. ^^;;

That sounds so much like my day... I didn't go to school 'till lunch because I was so depressed about the outcome of the election, not to mention Proposal 2 (the banning of gay marriage) being passed in my state (Michigan).

PS - thanks for being a faithful reviewer of PS21!

Testing to see if I can actually submit reviews now. Hope I can now.
I mean this sincerely, and in no way am I trying to be disdainful, but please, lighten up. There is nothing radical about desiring that the people, rather than judges, right the laws for the United States. This doesn?t limit freedom in any way. On the contrary, it expands the freedom of the majority to write their own laws.
I urge you to read Roe V. Wade, and understand that the ruling doesn?t even pretend to be an interpretation of the Constitution, that?s all I?m saying, and that?s all these ?radicals? are saying.
Please please please study the conservative interpretation of constitutional law, and try to come to terms with why your fellow citizens demand restraints the Judicial Branch.

Four more years of beautiful Republican control.
And I'm not saying that as a bad thing.
Sorry, hun (I'm guessing you're a Matrix fan?), but George Bush is a great president. How someone can possibly support Kerry, the same candidate that Osama Bin Laden recommends is beyond me.

Four more years of pixies and butterflies.

Just figured I'd balance out Cthulhu.

Four more years of murder and death.

The thing that worries me the most is him being able to appoint really radically religious Supreme Coutr Justices that would outlaw abortion and gay marriage permentantly (or at least until someone could change it).

I do think that this country needed a change, and I too voted for Kerry. My state (Vermont) at least pulled through for him. So did most of New England.

It really is a pity that our entire corner of the country doesn't count for ** in the election, though. (New England, I mean). -_-;

Anyway, I won't go into the details of my day, but I am glad it was just as sucky for other people.
