Reviews For: Scattered Reflections
Randirogue 2004-11-06 . chapter 1
I really didn't leave myself much to say about this one in this review, did I?
The situation between Remus and Catherine is definitely coming a little more into focus. The slow strokes in which you reveal these details is paced well and are subtle, yet not easy to miss. Just enough to whet the appetite and want for more.
Well, except for one line...
"WHY DOES IT ALWAYS HAVE TO BE ABOUT REM!"
I loved that line. It was unexpected, it fit perfectly, it stirred my 'foreshadowing' radar, and it made me giggle.
The slip into the bit about the make-up and her dressing up for her date was so nicely done. The connections formed there, also very subtle, were smooth and graceful, and also stirred my interest for the story.
The end was fabulous! "And there was nothing Remus could do about it."
Simply lovely.
Congrats!
