Reviews For: We're All Republicans Now
OneLastEndeavor 2005-06-13 . chapter 1
i disagree. I am a Democrat, so, what? am i a "deranged mental patient". this is somewhat truthful, but overly exaggerrated, like a huge hyperbole. and like another review said, the voter population is still a pretty small amoutn of America's population. lastly, i see no reason why Democrats aren't a viable political party anymore.

I was an apolitical, principled nonvoter before the election. I still am after.

I am me now, as I've always been.

There was some truth in this but don't you think that there is still some hope before they attempt "secession" from this republic of "un-united states."
Calvin Fitzgerald 2004-11-08 . chapter 1
I am a Republican.
I know I exist because I think, therefore I am.
I can't say the same for the rest of you.
Therefore, as I can only prove that I exist the proof: "We are all Republicans now" is valid if you take into account that by 'we are' I mean "I am".

Wow. I can't believe how much utter bull that is. You must keep in mind that usually only a fraction of America ever votes. AND the president only wins by a few electoral votes. Which means that he is only favored by half of the people who ACTUALLY vote. Which means, we can only be sure that a fourth of the US is republican. So what do you know!?
Besides, just because the "majority" of people, and I use the term lightly, are republican doesn't mean everyone else should sway from their beliefs. Honestly! Just go back and re-read your essay and think about how absurd it is. The whole purpose of this bloody country is freedom. Freedom of speech, press, petition, religon...and freedom of thought. We can think whatever we want. And we being everyone. Not just democrats. Though the third/green parties never win, they take away votes from OTHER candidates. Believe it or not, their vote and opinion still counts.
I don't care about your hatred towards my beliefs. You shouldn't be forcing your views on other people and I am disgusted that you are being so grotesque in the way you are pulling other parties down. I am a democrat, and I have plenty of Repulican friends. When we get into debates, I end up learning something very interesting and it thus improves my opinion with new information. Why don't you stop hating and start co-working with others of different opinions? You'll learn something. Why don't you open your myopic little eyes and see beyond yourself?

Basically, I got three things from this article:
You're a republican
You're telling the democrats of the world to basically go with the majority, "jump the sinking ship," even if that means giving up everything they believe in
You're a complete idiot

"We are Republicans now! Enough is enough! Just STOP IT! and start behaving, we've got work to do."
What about the other 48% of America? Are they Republican too?
Cthulhu 2004-11-06 . chapter 1
Yeah, President Clinton never existed, did he?
