I don't understand how the story of Jennifer Lopez's career is important to Puerto Rican history. She has never lived in Puerto Rico, has only recently mastered Spanish, and, more importantly hasn't changed Puerto Rico in any major way. Also, the Sotomayor incident is a complete fabrication made by Spanish colonists. If ever the Tainos believed the Spanish were gods, it perhaps as they saw their ships arrive, although the Spanish didn't resemble Taino gods in the least. Many, many Spanish conquistadores and colonists were injured, got sick, and died on the island before the incident, giving the Tainos many opportunities to witness Spanish mortality. The Spanish only wished to paint the indians as ignorant, savage beasts.

Fascinating, I never knew a lot of these facts, tell you son that he did an amazing job, totally worthy of an A+.
