First thing I have to say about this is that it definitely needs to be submitted to D. mag. Barring the simple fact that I'm just a sucker for romance, you've really done a good job of portraying the characters, especially the personality of Lucien. I liked the descriptions, and the dialogue as well. My only suggestion would be that you tone down the narrator's thoughts and feelings. The first paragraph comes across as rather cliche... Dunno. ^^;; That's all for now. Will read and edit more carefully next Thursday. Ja!

Very eloquently written... beautiful detail, and you told your point wonderfully. I was afraid you'd continue to condemn society, but it was the pure brilliance of a single occasion that changes everything... perfect.

While I was reading this, I tried to think of what to say in a review, and I was going to say somethign along the lines of "Well, you can't judge someone just because they hang out with certain people," but when I got to the end of this piece, I realized that that was your point! I like the unusual viewpoint- that just because you have a group of friends and maybe conform a bit, that doesn't make you a bad person. The begining is a little shaky and might need proofread, but overall, this is a nice piece.
