I'm not religious at all, but I really can't knock this in anyway. It's beautiful, and from my initial impression of the rhyme scheme, I didn't expect it to be. It just naturally flows, and that sort of beats all in a poem. Great last stanza.

noticed your note to the flamer, i wanted to know what the hell he was ** about, and it turns out he didnt' even READ this! what a **! *shrugs* people are morons these days, any ways... havent seen this format of poem in a LONG time (since my elementary days) yet you made it flow really nice, and the rhymes seemed to go well too! nice work (and if this is the first time i've reviewed you, i'm terribly sorry, i want to try and review everyone who reveiws me, but sometimes i slip up.) as for a title, maybe...
