I don't say much to poems, and im not a religious guy, but I liked this poem because it shows your trust and belief in something.

This is a very uplifting poem. Since you wrote that this is from a church retreat, I can only assume that you are taking about God or some other higher being. This in itself gives this poem the before mentioned uplifting work! _

hm... it doesn't really seem like a poem. it doesn't really have much rhythm to it. it is good, though, just not really poetic.
