Interesting post. i like how you show that your character is both searching for love and yet is very reluctant to accept it. Perhaps she isn't truly superficial but rather she wishes to understand what love truly is before she can share it with herself and especially others? I think it is profound how you elaborate the whirlwind of emotions that she is trying to wade through in an attempt to understand love and more importantly herself. She still seems on the verge of the answer and I look forward to see where her ruminations will lead her. Good job!

Very insightful. Looks as if your character (loosely based on you) is near making some profound realizations about life. Will be interesting to see where you take this next!

That is a really great line and one I definiately can sympathize with. It is sad when we realize that more often than not, our fantasy life is usually more interesting than our real lives. Perhaps that is for good reason? Then again, who knows for certain? In any case, I liked that observation and it really got my mind cranking. Look forward to more!
