I'm not sure whether it was intended, but it seems like the poem switches from an almost medieval-sounding style to a more modern approach. Either or, I like the pattern, as well as the repeated symbol of the willow.

Woah! New take on Laertes! Good take on Laertes, and a very interesting one. Nice rythem to this song (as of course it would need), and a good way of telling the story.
