I read that you were writing this for your english class so it would be shorter i guess, But i think it would be really cool if you took this plot and turned it into a longer story with chapters. That would be so great! I'm sure lots of people would enjoy reading it. With that in mind, it might be a good thing to tell more about her feelings before she really accepts his proposal and forgives him. He might not have wanted to propose to her right away too. It would take time. This would make a wonderful long story. Please, please, please do write it longer! I would definately want to read it! One last thing...i think this took place in like the 18th or 19th century or something but you need to make that more obvious.
