Ravens Cross 1/11/05 . chapter 1
This made me lean two different ways. I think what you have here is a few questions that are on alot of peoples mind yet they are not sure they should say them out loud or even write them for that matter. It is hard when you think about the whole picture to find all the answers. But I believe we know what we are supposed to know and we won't know all until we reach the day that is promised for believers. I am a firm believer in God. I don't know how he did the things he did or why but I believe it is all because of his great power. As for the part you wrote about God watching all the suffering going on in the world. I once heard an analogy that went a little something like this..."Can a man with long hair blame his barber for having long hair when he never went to him to get it cut"...so in other words, will God help the suffering if no one calls on his name? There comes a time and a place when we have to take responsibility for our own actions and face the reality that we can change things in our own life if we believe there is a better way. I enjoyed reading your poem. It gave me a glimpse of what you think about when dealing with this situation and now I have given you my view on it. I hope I haven't offended you in any way. "I search for the beginning, yet I yearn for the end," My favourite bit, I'm not christian, yet I still like this poem, it's not like normal ones. Good job.
