Well now, I'm assuming Valarie died? But I'm not really sure, because for some reason her ... essence was drawn back to her body? My only other question is, is this part of a series? There seems to be a lot of backstory and mystery reguarding Marcus for this to b e a stand alone story.

As far as the writing, it is good, though my only complaint is the fact that it hasn't been edited. (Oh well, I've done that before.) THis was a good story however.

This is an interesting start, and an intresting style of conveying such events that seem to have transpired. I don't have much to comment on, save for the fact that some of the words such as "to" seem to be spelled backwards. A quick edit would fix that, I would have made notes, but I've got a LOT of editing to get done, and your writing seems fine overall.

Reminds me of Planet of the Apes, which is perfectly fine. The flow and the plotline is wonderful, keep up!
