Sad and beautiful, very reflective and melancholy, subdued in its tone, and at the same time brimming with emotions beneath the surface. Reminds me a bit of Poe or other (pre)Romantic writers, perhaps Thomas Gray. I love your style of writing, it's very lyrical and beautiful.
