Clockwork Angel 2005-02-05 . chapter 1This has so much power and meaning into it. Really is something worth fawning over. Yes I agree I pretty much don't like it when people hates other people because of religion. I hate it when people of different religions use God as their excuse to murder and pillage others much like the Jihad or the Crusades...But what I hate most are old fanatics of a certain religions who forcefully stick their beliefs into your system and those that say that their religion is the correct path. Religion is only something to help create order and guidance in a man's mind and morality |
Tyger 2005-01-06 . chapter 1 No, you're right, we can't refund, but then again, there's always salvation. I'm only repeating the briefest of my thoughts at the moment, I just couldn't not leave an instant response, but I think I'll go ponder on this master piece for awhile. Thankyou. |
Anjeni Windsinger 2005-01-05 . chapter 1You really are a powerful writer - each of your poems reflect that. This, obviously, is intense in its wording, amazing in how quickly it grabs hold of you and refuses to let go until the end. The two last groups of stanzas reflect this the most; it can't help but blow you away, but pry open your mind at the same time. So, absoutely incredible write. It's a highly enjoyable and thought-provoking read. |
not sure yet 2005-01-01 . chapter 1now this is a crazy poem
i love it
it has my mind going ga ga cause there's so much to think about here and put in a such a weird and yet really powerful and well written imagery filled way, lots of overload there, heh
anywayz, muchly enjoyed this, excellent job |
True Illusion 2004-12-28 . chapter 1Wow...there's a lot there to comprehend. I've been away from writing and reading poetry for a while so it's taking me some time to grasp all of the eloquent message you've written. Yes, it's very true that the division of religions destroys us and that there's really nothing we can do now. I am impressed out how well you were able to convey this and more and I am left dazed by it all.Incredible job. I hope that we can just remember not to give up and go along with the flow but to be wise and choose our faiths and battles with caution and strong foundations. |
Dirty Wallpaper 2004-12-17 . chapter 1Very very interesting. I've never read anything like it before; a piece of poetry concerning religion and its effects. I think the last section was the key point of the poem - those before it was a build up, an education essential to understand a powerful conclusion. I found that the image of a fire in our minds was kind of disturbing, but in a way true. Religion really is quite fire; it can destroy, and it can help. It was a really creative way of describing it and very effective, extremely well done. Wonderful work, kudos! |
obsidian katana 2004-12-15 . chapter 1awesome poem. wonderfully written, full of passion, and i know what you write about. so many wars have been fought in the name of religion. i just don't like it when people say it's in the name of God. there's a difference between God and religion. religion is a human establishment, and therefore subject to human error. anyway, i loved this a lot. insightful, you conveyed the message well. good work. :) |
Raven CrowCalling 2004-12-13 . chapter 1This is almost beond words. This is so true. It's so bitter. Not sweet. Wrenching. Amazing. |
