wow, i'm loving the metaphors. especially the flower petal/tear one. oops, it's actually a simile. but whatever it is, it's good.

Oh, it is so good... until I hit 'But I lay covered upon it'. After that it kind of hits a forced feeling, full of Clichés and poetic repetitions. I'm not sure what to suggest for this poem.
