Hershey249 2005-01-23 . chapter 1Well...I haven't reviewed in a long time...I suppose this is better than most places to drop in again. :)
I thought hard about this poem for a few minutes, and realized that the best part about it is the potential for multiple interpretations. This could be cryptic yet ominous commentary on humanity...but I stared at it, and eventually came to interpret it differently for myself. I kind of envision a sunset...with night folding itself over the dying sun...the bands in the sky "unravel"...it has an almost yin/yang message to it, as if there is both day and night for humanity's sake. Very cool.
Of course, maybe I'm over interpreting. But who knows? It's beautifully worded either way. The idea of veils crucifying is incredibly vivid, something soft with sharp edges...there I go again. Guess I'm in one of those moods. Good stuff either way. :P |

Aimee Raven 2004-12-27 . chapter 1M...this has something apocalyptical about it...how could I not like it? Your formatting, the italicized text, also emphasizes some things a lot...very nice! Love, Mia |
JJR Meerraf 2004-12-26 . chapter 1That was REALLY cool! I read it twice just cuz it blew me away so much. I'm not sure if I understand it honestly, but I love it nevertheless. It was just... so cool!
You're reading something kind of dark, and then you read: "all for humanity's sake" and the reader is just like... "wow!"
Great stuff, I loved it! |
