Ah, the title "THE BEES AND THE FLOWERS" immediately clicks it into your head that this is going to be interesting if not funny, but no worries, it was both!! Yeah, what happened to the open psychedelic 70's?? Why are adults so weirded out by these talks?! sigh Poor souls...and then the example about the bee and flower! lmao, that is so funny! Ahem, back to what I was saying... ...aw the invisible girl was noticed! This is all true? Down to the final "Uh. Yeah. Why the f$&$ shouldn't I?" And those two are still together? Aw...do they go to the same college together? (Stupid questions, I know!) LOL! I love how you made the "I'll always be behind you...stuff list" and then how at the end, you put, "I must be a stalker." I found that hilarious!! Now, do tell, what does he look like? He sounds like he's got white-blonde hair and green eyes...but maybe that's just cuz I like guys like that, lol! And I loved your update on werecats!! (Notetoself: Review werecats) Darn...so many things to do... Anyways, this little short story here was definitely well-written and it gives you a nice warm fuzzy feeling by the time you're done reading it. Despite the lack of your normal use of humor, you still have some in there (only it's sarcastic ironic humor, sorta, rather than obvious humor) No worries, I found myself (quite oddly) giggling at some parts as I read it, so it obviously funny! Aw, the guy sounds so sweet! Love the dialogue in this short story...did I ever mention how stunning you are with dialogue? (Seriously, I love the dialogue in Werecats too...the conversations between Tony and Shubru and Eva and Leo are so awesome! You rock, I hope you know that. Still don't believe me? Er, I have more substantial evidence!) Anyways, keep on writing this set of stories. I love them...they're so cute! Anyways, god I sound so serious...tempted to break out into song and dance to not be so serious Another good thing about you? You're really straightforward in your writing...I don't think I see any blah/gobbledygook that does not belong. Your story isn't hindered down by any of that kind of blah, and it really moves along with big key points along the way. It doesn't have moments where it drags and drags and the readers are left thinking, "I have cookies to cook...better go." Not that I've ever thought that EVER when i've read other peoples' stories! (Never ever ever!) It's just an example! This story was so awesome I just couldn't get away, and I seriously do have cookies baking in my oven...anyways, love this story, it rocks, and keep on writing! (You inspire the fledgling writers - eh, moi - to try to write stories as good as yours!) Interesting. Intriguing. Detailed. Never vague. Fascinating.
