| The Blood Ringed Moon 2005-02-15 ch 1, | abuseNice, The feeling was there, and the way you used imagery to, even over the net, give the feel superiority for the boy is amazinf in such a short story. Bravo. |
| tatumli 2005-01-05 ch 1, anon. | abuseouch. Poor old guy. Poor son. I feel more empathy for the father. But sadness for both. *cries* |
| Blood Raven1 2005-01-02 ch 1, | abuseI love the chilling feel to this tale how you touch on the child's narrowminded attitude and the father's final warning. I get the image of this occuring towards the end of the war when they were recruiting children to to the front line how they (some anyways) really believed they could "defend" Germany from their "enemies" (meanwhile the real enemy lies within her walls...) But the best line of this short tale has to be when his father remarks: I am speaking a truth that you no longer understand. Beautifully said to put it mildly. |
