 MiggsThompson 2005-01-10 . chapter 1The local feeling of this poem--'In Flander's field'--makes it feel very close to me, as if it's two towns over from me. The repetition definitely strengthens this line. I also like the lines (if I may quote,) 'Among those unbreakable / Hearts, spirits and souls.' This combines the rhythm of poetry with emotion--something that I never quite mastered. Nice work! |
