Very realistic. I especially liked "New Nova Scotia," because your weapon of "glory and extinction" is an echo of the 20th century's Cold War.

You should totally develop on this. It would be cool to "see" Dr. Alan's initial days at the UNOI if you diluted the narration at the beginning with some dialogue.
