The Inkslinger 2005-05-20 . chapter 1Aww, that's simply lovely. I think my favorite line was "regretting everything I do" - It just really appeals to me the most, though I'm not entirely certain why. Maybe because I often think remorse and regret are the saddest things one can feel...? Hm, but I really like the organization of your stanzas.. it created such wonderful flow to the poem. *glomp*
Ergh, but I have to say, I'm rather ticked at my author alert/hotmail account thing, because I never got an e-mail that you'd updated, and you uploaded this eons agon! Grr. *yanks at hair* Do you ever have problems with your hotmail? Is that normal...? Bleh. Anyway, enough complaining!
Well, I'm a complete and utter clueless idiot when it comes to poetry.. I really don't know a thing about the art/mechanics of it; I don't think I could write a decent poem if my life depended on it. So, rather than attempting to comment on things I have truly little concept of (eh... ^^;;), I'd just like to say that the rhythm was -so- nice, and it truly was very thought provoking..Oh, it's just a lovely piece. Heh, well, I should probably stop blabbing and leave you in peace, now...but first I'm going to smack some sense into my stupid alert/email. Hmh!
-InkyP.S. I'm so envious of your poetry skills.. if you're not careful I'll steal them from you... somehow... maybe... right.. never mind me. |
