Varion 3/18/05 . chapter 1 Okay, so you want a happiness scale? Well, the creatures are all cheerful, but it maintains the master slave relationship inherent in the surf system of government. The outward trappings would suggest that the Queen should be happy, but we really don't know do we? So on a scale of 1-10 I would say its about a 7.5, a little happier than average because I just like fairies and stuff, but not so wonderfully happy as a really good dream come true or finding ones true love. Anyway, I did like the descriptions, but I really couldn't get a really clear view of the whole ensemble. The Queen was a centerpiece without a backdrop, and I think it might help to have a concrete point of view, one of the characters perhaps, so that thoughts would have a definite source, and a description would natural assume an angle to be viewed from. Just my own thoughts, don't take them too seriously. VarionPS Weren't you going to email me? |
