Probably the shortest short story I have read. So sad...yet you did a very nice job of capturing one's feelings as they realize their life as they knew it was changed in one horrid instant. The description of what was running though her mind was pretty good. I think you could have added a bit more with the senses, but you seemed to capture mood and death nicely. Good write.
