Manuel Fajar 2005-02-21 . chapter 1¿what is it that determines what we're worth?
¿where are scales measure soul's potentials?
¿who but God has wisdom to mark weight's dial?
¿what is certain valuation for soul?
¿when would you take it, when heart changes all?
in the slightest of our talents varied,
lie infinities—possibilities,
fecund diversity divine waiting,
rainbow spectrums filling Love's deepest hopes,
for life is the blooming of difference,
for life is the blessing of reverence. |
Galadh Niniel 2005-01-21 . chapter 1Absolutely wonderful. I can totally relate to this. It is sad how we are unfaithful and unworthy and fall away again and again, and you express this painful dimension really eloqiently in your poem, but at the same time you bring in the positive apsect, the hope, becuase He always takes us back and loves us and gives us another chance, and even molds us into his image as we let him. (Though I'm almost despairing of this as far as I am concerned at the moment). I love this poem, the way it combines both pain and hope, fall and grace, unworthiness and unconditional love. |
