abuseA few explanations: EVP - Electric voice phenomena, it is believed that dead people can leave messages for the living on electric devices (records, movies etc.)The story in the poem is of an ancient love between a maid and a man in a haunted manor. The woman calls her love, for she is doomed to ever live on the Earth. Her loves sends her a message on the record as the protagonist is haunted by sounds, faces of the dead on the windows etc. The message is the last line of the 5th stanza, the man cannot join his love ever again and the maid in despair abandons the abode of her existence. I personally am not fully convinced by these phenomena's, I believe they are realistic but I do not always trust the elements we possess. On the website w.aaevp.com you shall find pictures, audio files and movies you can download. I advise prudence and be prepared for they might scare someone who is very sensitive.
