holocaustpulp 1/19/05 . chapter 1There is no vice in the body. Thus, it should be shown throughout the mdeia liberally. The idea that sex is bad is simply unnateral and stupid. The only problem presented here is the media's interpretation of sex, which is not beaty, but lust. Nonetheless, sex definitely should not be censored, and neither should violence. |
Voronwe 1/18/05 . chapter 1Whoa! A sex class? Do we get to look at porn! -V |
WhinyPoetryFromGenerationY 1/18/05 . chapter 1I agree that we should embace sexuality intsead of ignoring it, but naked children in shampoo adds is gross, and gives sexual preditors substance. |
Formerly 1/17/05 . chapter 1Not a bad essay, although it has nothing to do with Swift. |
INTP 1/17/05 . chapter 1I'm not sure how this follows the format of Swift's "A Modest Proposal" since it doesn't use a tongue-in-cheek solution for a burgeoning problem. Also, the title should be 'immodest' since your suggesting something that is thought of as obscene, although the ideas themselves aren't obscene at all-they are quite rational and sound. However, it was a decent essay-easily read and clear in its expression. I agree with your ideas that sexuality should be an open part of society instead of thrown-in-your-face (as in American society) or completely neglected (as in extremist Muslim societies). |
