Powerful. Scary, in a lot of ways. The word "disturbing" comes to mind too. But that doesn't mean it's not good. If anything, this is one of the best poems I've read recently. So sincere, so... honest.

my mind's not made to cope with this,

violence i have know in life's wars,

but always cherished illusions,

that between man and woman kind,

even if yells and hatred came,

never, would gentleman hurt her,
