Talk about making me squirm in my chair as i read this...the imagery made me wiggle inside. I think you definately captured the way one feels when life is on the brink of a natural disaster. Very good flow. The stanzas had a rythm to it that was catchy, almost begging me to read it aloud. Bravo.

I like the meaning of this poem, at least, the meaning I think is behind it. :)

The feeling that everything is just terrible and makes you downhearted, but you can't imagine something better than that because it's just our world. There is nothing better.

I like the end, as described above. That explains in the last two lines what the meaning is. Keep up the good work.

wow, true, true, true. our world is one messed up place. my favorite lines from this poem are:"Eating my world

Like a virus, killing cancer

Consume spirits

Without an evening of crying in shame"

and"Whole herds are spaired

Whole lives are ruined

Whole cutures ruptured"
