Abdul Alhazred - John Brewe...
2007-10-02
ch 1,
Sounds like tomorrowland

It reads as confused and fast paced as your other poetry, but I can almost see it being read in front of a television.
Emotions Flare... "20 found dead in Abu Grahbe Prison, retaliatory suicide bombings beginning to be excercised by militant groups..."
Temporary silence sweeps the Earth... "Uneasy truce in Gaza Strip as well as along North Korean border. Troops to remain in position throughout the christmas season..."
The storm is summoned... "Reports of attacks on U.S. and U.N. troops flowing in from nearly every foreign station. The offensive does not seem to be more than a coincidence at this time as no single group is claiming responsibility..."
The exodus methodical and swift... "Thousands flee indonesia and oceania as fleets from China and U.S. clash over recent uproar in Middle East. Oil divides deepen. Burning Oil fields pictured on page F3..."

And then the rockets fly.

I like this poem but I'm not going to put it on my favorites list.
It is too real.

It is disgusting I have taken so long to review this for you.

Pining for the cold steel shell of a trident warhead, we await the fallout, we await the decay.

Silence.

Very good. It's hard to know what to say about it, but I like the sense of irony in the last line 'grateful it has no soul'. I dont really know why I feel it's ironic but hey.
