Awesome poem. I loved it. It's very creepy, very eerie. It has an excellent rhythm to it, and it rhymes without being silly and childlike. There's some great imagery in this. Your words painted a very chilling picture in my mind.

Oohh, very scary and mysterious! I was like getting a shiver up my spine while reading. You really painted the picture well with your choice of words as well as with the rhythm. That was so great! I posted it in my lj (with a link of course). Ahh (reads it again) you're a really good writer. I can't write stuff like this, it's beyond me, but I love reading it, especially when it's done well. ^_^ Oh and THANK YOU SO MUCH for pointing out "in chapter 20 Michael's all shocked and mad to find out she knows Minerva, but he was just recently at Minerva's house seeing Dana work there, so he'd know she'd know her" I am such an idiot... I rewrite chapters a lot so I always forget what's actually happened in the story. Uwee, well, thanks so much for that, and I really did enjoy the poem! (oh, I added this to my fav's list! ^_^)

This is an amazing poem. I really like it. The small variation on the refrain was good; it helpt keep it together without becoming redundant. I love it, I love it! I would love it, even If I didn't have to ask you to list your reasons defending your beloved color and belittaling indigo. (ha!) which you now have to tell me, because I'm asking.Anyway, really. I love it.

I wonder if trees mind being climbed. That's a good point. I hope they don't. Because obviously I've been being very unkind this whole time if they do.And,um yes.

Awesome imagery! "Dark figure, arms outspread, completes the rite/ And screams the incantation until spent" was line that particulary struck me. You are gifted in the art of poetry! I, on the other hand, seem to be inflicted with a disease that prevents me from writing a poem anywhere as good at this. I bow down to you, o Poetress.
