This is good. I like it better than "Hawk", I'm glad I read Hawk first.In comparison to Hawk, I think this has better meter, rythmn, and rhyme. All in all, it's just more enjoyable to read. Sometimes I wish more people would use this kind of symplicity, with short lines and light repitition. When it's done right, it's very charming.

I really like this poem...the repetition of "I wish upon a star at night", "that I", and "could fly" are interesting and really add to the mood of the poem...nice job :) keep writing!
