This is very saddening, because a dear friend of mine recently died after getting hooked up to a machine, then disconnected from it. He lived a good life, and thank you for writing such a beautifully rhymed poem.

A sweet and heartfelt piece. My only suggestion is that I get the feeling that you could make this piece flow more effectively if you didn't rhyme it. Sometimes it just works out like that, so don't be discouraged and just look at it as an opportunity to become a better poet. Overal this is a very touching piece and a good poem.

Yikes- lots of emotion in here, a lot of hurting. Very sad to the reader- but really, a great job of expressing yourself. Keep up the good work!

That was really beautiful. It is crazy how we always have so much trouble forgetting those who have hurt us. The memories still remain to haunt you forever.
