The common cold is pretty cool as a plotline.

Absolutely excellent work. The overall feel, which is added to by the lack of a long exposition, rather than harmed, reminds me of some of the old 1950's short stories I've loved so much for years.

This is a powerful, moving story. Though I like happy endings, I've enjoyed it immensely.

"And you read into what I say too much" I think this just needs to be reworded, perhaps "And you read too much into what I say." That was the only thing that caught my attention.

Beautiful and deep. It is certainly something to think about and as a biologist (in training) I much appreciate it.
